This museum is located on the edge of the Halle Woods, approximately 200 meters from the Nijvelsesteenweg road. A variety of documents, stones, fossils, models and objects illustrate the fauna, flora, geological and historical aspects of the Halle Woods, from prehistory to the present day. Texts, maps and diagrams explain how the woods, in spite of land reclamation and building development, has been preserved. | ||

From the middle of April till the end of May, every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In October, every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visits of groups only by appointment (Tourist Information Office Halle - tel. 02/356.42.59). Entrance free. |
